Kovai Corporate League (KCL) is Coimbatore’s most celebrated corporate cricket tournament, launched in 2018 with a vision to bring professionals together through the spirit of cricket while giving back to society.

Over the years, KCL has grown into a landmark sporting event, successfully completing multiple editions (2018, 2019, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025). The tournament has hosted 950+ matches and witnessed participation from 300+ unique and 560+ total corporate teams. The first three editions featured 64 teams, followed by an expansion to 80 teams in subsequent seasons, and a remarkable leap to 112 teams in its sixth season - making KCL one of the fastest-scaling corporate cricket tournaments in India.

The entire tournament is organized by passionate volunteers from multinational companies, who dedicate their personal time to make each season a success. More importantly, all proceeds are contributed toward supporting underprivileged individuals and social causes across Coimbatore, making every match meaningful beyond the boundary.

KCL is also powered by technology, offering automated live scoring, real-time statistics, and a dedicated digital platform through its website. Each season attracts 20,000+ unique visitors and over 250,000 total visits, with audiences tuning in from cities like Coimbatore, Chennai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad, as well as internationally from the USA and the UK - where teammates and supporters cheer from afar.
